2-day International Conference, 8-9 Aug 2006
The two-day international conference entitled, “Trans-boundary Water Issues: South Asian Cooperation” ended in Dhaka.
Moulana Bhashani's Farakka Long March Day Observed: The 30th Anniversary , 16 May 2006
Observance of the 30th Anniversary of Farakka Long March Day commenced at Gobindashi, Tangail by International Farakka Committee Inc. NY. and International Farakka Committee Bangladesh (IFC-B) and a protest rally against the upstream water diverision by India was held.
